bikes

Barcelona

We did it! Yesterday, in the early morning we took a bus to the car’s market in our city of Lodz with intention to buy the bikes!

The story with the bikes began in Barcelona where we started our traveling. Bikes and scooters, bikes and scooters… Then we found the same kind of “bike’s madness” in Amsterdam, London… Come on! There is something great about bikes.

So we went to the market. And the hunting began! Crowd of people everywhere. Many cars, bikes and junk. Among this stuff we found our twin bikes! They are old, beautiful in their ugliness and they are german (but they speak polish and english as well).

Barcelona

Berlin (is it a motor bike?)

Our twin bikes

The bike’s culture in Lodz is (i would say) on intermediate level. We still need more bike lines! I hope, that there will be Amsterdam’s bike’s culture in every big and small city, some day…

  3. Thanks for the comment on my blog! I really like bike trips as well as you can still enjoy the scenery while still going faster than walking. 🙂

Nice new bikes! I wish my city had more bike lanes as well.

    • there are places which needs some more time to understand basic needs… i wish to believie, that if the ciclists will be united, they can influence authorities to build new lanes 🙂
